DRAWING C   Junction Pictures   8.5mb Infrastructure Review

The usual manipulated "Consultation" to bring the closure into effect was started with the distribution of the Infrastructure Review to the members of the working group at the begining of March 2017.
It is being done with no general publicity, no public meetings, no names of the committee / working group which has single members of an unspecified number of un-named Residents Associations (Westgate RA, Parklands RA, East Broyle RA, and presumably Summersdale RA) have received invites with a copy of the Review) who can choose how they achieve their mandate with an unknown percentage of the affected residents, as "Representatives of the public". Presumably there are also local councillors on the group as well, but is there anyone speaking for users outside the immediate residential area?

Closing Brandyhole Lane, as with stopping up Sherborne road, brings on board another "representiative" to achieve the developers wishes and of course the support of councillor Jeremy Hunt of West Sussex County Council, the council responsible for Highways. Councillor Hunt lives in the built up part of Brandyhole Lane which will benefit from the closure.

If you want to have your voice heard then e-mail the Editor of the Chichester Observer with a letter, and also send it to County councillor Leader Louise Goldsmith, as the person ultimately responsible for Highways, and District Council Leader Tony Dignum, as the person ultimately responsible for approving the development of Whitehouse Farm.
